Applied Bioengineering
Research activities cover "Genetic engineering" focusing on elucidation of
gene expression by means of statistical analysis of embryo and bio-polymer
sequences, "Physiological Engineering" studying on the effects of contraction
and nervous control on the blood glucose uptake in skeletal muscles,
and "Life support engineering" for health improvement and preventive medicine
through the mechanism elucidation of the respiratory and circulatory
adaptation to exercise.
